Huxley & Hiro is Wilmington's premier locally owned and operated independent bookstore, located at 419 North Market Street next to La Fia Bistro.

We sell books (fiction, non-fiction, children's books), gifts (including puzzles, games, and candy), postcards, candy, art, Wilmington and Delaware souvenirs, local art and books, and a growing selection of LGBTQ+ books and memoirs. We also offer notary services. We do not buy used books.

Friday, Sept 6, 12-5pm: Block Party on Market St celebrating ribbon cutting for 10K Vintage, the newest addition to downtown culture. Celebrate another amazing addition to Downtown alongside Freakishly Awesome, Green Box Kitchen, and Jet Phynx Films. Vendors will include the above alongside some of our other local favorites like Dueling Rabbits, Pat Kawka, and many more.
