Huxley & Hiro is Wilmington's premier locally owned and operated independent bookstore, located at 419 North Market Street next to La Fia Bistro.

We sell books (fiction, non-fiction, children's books), gifts (including puzzles, games, and candy), postcards, candy, art, Wilmington and Delaware souvenirs, local art and books, and a growing selection of LGBTQ+ books and memoirs. We also offer notary services. We do not buy used books.

Sunday, Aug 4, 2-4pm: Monthly Silent Book Club - bring your own book and enjoy a cool afternoon catching up on reading!
Saturday, Aug 10, 1pm: Delaware Author Ethan Joella reading and signing his new Rehoboth Beach based book "The Same Bright Stars". Purchase from us online or pick up a copy in store!
