Meet Huxley & Hiro, your locally owned and operated independent bookstore, located at 419 North Market Street next to La Fia Bistro.
Have you checked out the vibrant renaissance in historic downtown Wilmington yet? Come visit new local businesses, award-winning restaurants, and top destinations such as the Delaware Historical Museum and the Grand Opera House, all within a few blocks of Huxley & Hiro.
We sell books (fiction, non-fiction, children's books), gifts, postcards, candy, art, Wilmington and Delaware souvenirs, local art and books, and we offer notary services. We do not buy used books.

6-8pm: Author reading and book signing celebrating Edward G. Gray's new book Mason-Dixon: Crucible of the Nation, hosted by our partners at the Delaware Historical Society, located one block north of our store at 505 N. Market Street
6-8pm: Beginner's Knitting Workshop with Patrycja Hosbach. Knit your own holiday scarf for your loved ones! Tickets available here.
Friday, December 1, 5-8pm: Wilmington Art Loop. Enjoy music with the Rosewood Duo, wine, snacks, and the art of local painter Jimmy Thompson.
